Wilhelm Scherübl (none/they) works at the intersection of media art and architecture, engaging with pressing social and political issues. Their practice explores distortions of reality through text and image, drawing from current events and cultural trends. These investigations often evolve into speculative and fictional narratives that expose the absurdities of contemporary developments and contribute to debates about possible futures. Beyond the digital and conceptual, their work also extends into physical formats such as sculpture and installation.

Wilhelm's projects have been presented internationally. With extensive experience in teaching, leading workshops, and collaborating with universities, they are committed to knowledge exchange and value dialogue with students and peers alike. Residencies have been a key part of their practice.
